Notes
I've found two sources for the word "indigo" in natural languages. Most of them derive the word from the indigo dye (ultimately from India), but some languages simply don't distinguish indigo from blue or violet, and describe the colour as a kind of dark blue, violet-blue, or another familiar colour. I've opted for a "dark blue" term, as I prefer to keep it separate from violet.
